How did you learn how to cook? I have always had an interest in cooking.  I assisted my mother and self taught. 

Who is/was the greatest influence on your cooking, and why?  My mother, maternal grandmother and aunt were the greatest culinary influences.  My mother and aunt grew up learning from their mother.  And they passed that love of food and cooking down to me.  Even at a young age, I can remember my mother watching the early food shows such as “The Galloping Gourmet” or Julia Child.  Two recipe books I refer to on a regular basis were handed down from my grandmother and mother.

What’s your philosophy about food and eating?  I have had more than one person say to me, “You must really love to cook”.  But the truth is, I LOVE to eat and eat well!  That’s not to say I don’t enjoy cooking--just the opposite.  I can’t tell you how many times we have been at the table, not yet done with one succulent meal, and already discussing/planning our next meal.
